I cannot count the number of times I’ve been asked this question.

“What’s your biggest marketing challenge?” … Both Vocus/PRWeb and Hubspot Webinars ask you this question when registering, and I’ve attended a lot of these.  I’m sure you can relate as well.

So What IS your biggest marketing challenge? … I always came up with something random that “I thought” was a “good” marketing challenge to have. I didn’t lie. I thought I was telling the truth until I had a slight AHA moment this early morning. Its like the stars fell from the sky and landed in my lap, brightening my eyes to THE TRUTH of what MY REAL marketing challenge is.

My marketing challenge is this: I seem to always be on the defensive. WOW! The reason for the Title of This Post!

facing-the-giants

Its like I’ve had a BREAKTHROUGH! What do I mean by “being on the defensive?”

We have so much bombard us in our daily lives, especially if you’re business owner like me: emails, twitter one, twitter two, …,  facebook messages, facebook comments, blog posts (I actively moderate 5 blogs on a regular basis), etc. etc. AHHHHHHHH! How can we keep up? … at least that is what I often asked myself until I decided to tackle MY CHALLENGE like a football linebacker. Yes, I gave it my all. Staying up from 5am to Midnight in a lot of cases, just working in my office, mainly at the computer. BLAH BLAH BLAH!

NO FUN! all work … no play … but these are the sacrifices we must give in order to have the success we want in life. I’m finally caught up and I’m on the offensive. Now really, I lied to you (he he, my bad) … my biggest marketing challenge NOW is not knowing “how to deal” with this newly found life of being on the offense. Here I am finally writing another blog post, backing up my blog databases, etc.

I’M FINALLY ON THE OFFENSE!

Furthermore, I’m determined to keep it this way so I’m not done working from 5am to Midnight.
